Zuwaira

As Microloan Coordinator, Zuwaira Sani Ellah works with unemployed women to launch small businesses of their choosing. After building a relationship with each woman, she helps them create a business plan and purchase the needed materials. She then visits each microloan recipient twice a month to help them troubleshoot any problems. Zuwaira also leads Moringa Trainings, providing unemployed women with a source of income. Her favorite part of working with Bright Minds, she says, is seeing women who were previously unemployed become small business owners, lifting their families out of extreme poverty. 

Zuwaira studied Sociology from Nasarawa State University Keffi, Nigeria. In her free time, she loves reading and baking cake.
